The entire room took about 9 hours, not including a trip out to get some storage units (and some dinner!). We went through every paper, finding that most of them could be tossed, while filing the rest, which was easier with an overhaul of the previous A-Z filing system, which often yielded multiple file folders for the same thing, just under different titles (e.g., car/Volvo/auto). Moving the desk made made the closet more accessible, and thus, easier to keep organized.
