Organization (in progress) for In-Home Office
for an all-volunteer non-profit group

Fifteen years of hard work for this land preservation organization had resulted in a room stuffed to the gills with paper, with overflow into the hallway, kitchen, and other parts of the house. When we began, Sandra avoided the office, which was inefficient and not very pleasant. After some initial paper purging I devised a new furniture layout, and we refurbished a lovely wood table that was in the basement, for use as additional work space in the center of the room. We also removed the closet doors and used that space for supply storage, using a smaller shelf unit we put directly into the closet. Although we are still working on the space, Sandra is now happy to be in her office and is able to find her files and supplies quickly.
